Freeze Frame 03:14
i knew if i had a freeze frame moment in time i'd spend it next to you if i decided to tell you how i would just like to smell you i am imagining your reaction to my action and it's not pretty in any city, not couth on any rooftop party where i'd probably do it i'm so good at keeping it from you that i'd move mountains to please you probably don't know that i exist well i guess we talk sometimes, but there's a barrier i'm always aware of i don't know what you't think of this i knew if i had a freeze frame moment in time i'd spend it next to you even though you couldn't move or see that i was the only person alive who wasn't stuck ion the freeze what must you think of me too cool for school i noticed, one look at you and i'm whisked back to seventh grade, over my head in every way i feel like almost dying so my life would flash before my eyes and i'd see the moments that we've shared it's walling up inside me, can't seem to clamor over the hurdle keeping me from telling you how i feel it'll happen one of these days, till then you go on your merry way ignorance is bliss, i wouldn't even steal a kiss if i had a freeze frame moment in time i'd spend it next to you even though you couldn't move or see that i was the only person alive who wasn't stuck ion the freeze what must you think of me

Hips/Lips 03:18
your eyes cut me deep even in my sleep you can see me dream and you're dreaming of the same thing what you say with your lips, what you say with your hips is different i can't mistake this secret taste or what's on your face it's like looking in a mirror what you say with your lips, what you say with your hips is different surrounded by these enemies we make conversation words ringing out as empty as our plates before dinner i can see a glimmer, we could just be sinners and both finish at the same time can't reveal ourselves to this company shall we hit the streets, buy a bottle of something sweet, just you and me instead we talk about the weather, will it get better, and will your boyfriend ever remember your eyes cut me deep even in my sleep you can see me dream and you're dreaming of the same thing what you say with your lips, what you say with your hips is different i can't mistake this secret taste or what's on your face it's like looking in a mirror what you say with your lips, what you say with your hips is different let's be clear you're whispering in my ear a string of nasty nasty now lets sneak off to the bathroom fantastic these ain't no blurred lines, our bodies energized like we touching each other for the first time can you keep it a secret, can i keep it a secret if the answer's yes we can continue to freak it now lets get back to the party and drink some more wine and see if we can't hit it a few more times tonight (what you say with your lips, what you say with your hips is different)

Time To Play 03:05
in the middle of the city there are office buildings standing tall i don't know how many floors they have, can't count 'em all on the ceilings fluorescent bulbs are humming sixty hertz cubicle walls and stacks of paper, pens, and collared shirts give me some time give me some time give me some time to play scrolling down and like and share because it's easy to a tailored slice of information that appeals to you check your messages, alert you have a notification i've had better conversations in an echo chamber give me some time give me some time give me some time to play deep inside exists the blueprint to destroy myself cells dividing, breaking down with each repeated step i'm not so sure my phone against my thigh is helping things when it's not there i'm often startled by a phantom ring give me some time give me some time give me some time to play
5.
Done To You 03:28
if i came across your old guy, i would seriously consider violent revenge but i know that you'd mind take the lid off the jar where he's kept in your brain poisoning synapses, egos's dead, we'll get by we see different people when we're standing in the bathroom you see a creature that you want to smash with a shoe i see an empathetic soul but lurking in the back room is what he put you through now what's he done to you (you) comprehend what's laid down as the truth and i know you're taking steps to amend history, to forget just let go, i am here, i can catch you if you fall but i think that you'll fly, stretch your wings, fill the sky we see different people when we're standing in the bathroom you see a creature that you want to smash with a shoe i see an empathetic soul but lurking in the back room is what he put you through now what's he done to you (what's he done to you)

i've got this feeling and you know that i've had it for so long when we're out riding my foot starts to tap and you play along smooth cruisin' together on a beautiful sunny summer day enjoying the weather dandelion seeds floating in the wind falling in love everyday is like my favorite song stuck in my head, i cant get rid of nit nor would i want to elaborate breakfast the likes of which only you and i could conceive after we finish the dishes we go out, explore, and then we retreat back to the sunporch branches scratch at the window as we recline a different apartment but home is wherever we reside falling in love everyday is like my favorite song stuck in my head, i cant get rid of nit nor would i want to falling in love everyday, you're my favorite song stuck in my head, i cant get rid of nit nor would i want to

the hills on the horizon are all i can see today ignore the sidewalks and the buildings in the way i'll describe what's going through my brain when you dream you wake up just the same terrified of mucking it all up so i don't try the hills seem farther out of reach by miles and miles i'll describe what's going through my brain when you dream you wake up just the same do i stay comfortable in my bedroom? (no) i think it's time to leave the womb even if i don't feel up for it procrastinating take the path of least resistance those mountains fading further still off in the distance i'll describe what's going through my brain when you dream you wake up just the same do i stay comfortable in my bedroom? (no) i think it's time to leave the womb (no) do i stay comfortable in my bedroom? (no) i think it's time to leave the womb

baby's got a brain like whoa, baby's got a body like whoa come over to my place, when i see your face i want to be a better man when you get the green light going we can make the furnace glow (get rid of these clothes) and when the morning sun comes you take a cab back home and anything seems possible the sun rays across the pillow i lift the sash above the sill up is that a chill in the fresh air, no it's feels good on my skin so i let it blow the bed is still warm where you still lay i wonder what trouble i'll get in to today all that's on my mind is that fleeting bliss, that invincible residual goodbye kiss baby's got a brain like whoa, baby's got a body like whoa come over to my place, when i see your face i want to be a better man when you get the green light going we can make the furnace glow (get rid of these clothes) and when the morning sun comes you take a cab back home and anything seems possible the cab ride takes twenty minutes i barely notice that i'm in it walking up to my building door i feel dazed and confused and it's wonderful the first time at the show when we locked eyes i felt a thrill that i didn't feel with other guys all that's on my mind is that fleeting bliss, that invincible residual goodbye kiss

Your Club 03:54
it's friday night and you've been working hard for what feels like months put your briefcase in the trunk of your car in the parking garage you step outside in the streetlight you're anonymous like the rest of us, troubles melt like it was just a mirage to a passer-by it looks just like you don't know just where to go but you've got a destination in mind as you approach the spot the muffled sounds of a kick drum thump gets your heart to pump and your feet start walking in time you can do anything you want to you can be anyone you please this is your club so get down and get up when you dance no one can steal your dreams in a haze capture each other's gaze you both move in close 'til you're wearing each other's clothes but neither of you are leaving yet you both think you'd like another drink so you leave the floor and recoup outdoors and then it's back for the dj's last set move your feet to that infectious beat let your body flow, let your body go, nowhere else like this exists in the universe (lose track of time cuz this feels so right) we don't care if it's morning out there, we're gonna dance 'til we've lifted the curse you can do anything you want to you can be anyone you please this is your club so get down and get up when you dance no one can steal your dreams we've got to love one another let's respect one another get down with each other and make this night last forever you can do anything you want to you can be anyone you please this is your club so get down and get up when you dance no one can steal your dreams
